Harmony is a family owned company, with founder Jim Smith beginning his journey into senior living development in 1982. Since then Harmony has grown to 28 communities and over 2,500 associates serving seniors and their families with independent, assisted living and memory care services in eight states along the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US.
In my 30+ years serving our industry I’ve witnessed considerable changes in the products we offer, the services we provide and how we’re priced. However, the one constant that remains is how the truly successful senior living organizations place resident happiness and care, family communications, and associate appreciation and respect as the top behaviors within their culture.
