Harmony Journeys

In 2023 we are excited to announce Harmony Journeys - a collaborative life enrichment program designed for all Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents. Harmony Senior Services' skilled care, dining, and activities teams worked together to create a unique adventure that will transport our residents around the world.

Each month Harmony will try new foods, hear new music, participate in virtual tours, and learn about a new country around the world all from the safety and security of Harmony’s luxury senior living communities! Contact your local community to join our monthly theme night dinner or another of the fun monthly Harmony Journeys events!

Travel to China with Harmony! 
We virtually explored the Great Wall and the Terracotta Soldiers, tasted and learn about tea and celebrated Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit!

We fell in love with the city of lights, celebrating fashion. food and drink and exploring Paris

We kicked off Harmony's signature life enrichment program - Harmony Journeys. With a journey to China in honor of Chinese New Year and the year of the rabbit. Residents discovered the culture around drinking tea, the diverse people groups and cultures of China, tried new foods and a few words of a new language.

February 

Harmony Journeys took us to France in February! In Harmony Square we celebrated love with Valentines Day crafts. Then we tasted French wines and cheeses and virtually toured the City of Lights and saw the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Harmony Senior Services residents loved exploring a new country and culture!

March

This month, we journeyed off the coast of England and Wales to the Isle of Ireland. Throughout the month, we enjoyed Guinness beer, Shepherds Pie, Irish Soda bread and other delights the region is known for. We painted pots of gold while listening to writings of the great Oscar Wilde read aloud. It was a good time!

We loved exploring Italy in April! We tried some of our favorite foods, practiced making our own pasta and learned all about wine. Virtually toured the Sistine Chapel and learning Italy's deep history.

We traveled through the rich country of Mexico - trying cuisines from different regions, a celebrating with music and dance.

In June we journeyed to Greece! We had our own Olympics, learned about the Greek gods and virtually toured Greek ruins. And some pretty fun toga parties!
