Harmony at Avon resident, Annelle knows that it’s never too late to make an exciting and bold move. The California native, along with eleven of her family members, relocated to Indianapolis last year. While the family’s long-standing affiliation with the Indy 500 may have been the initial draw to the area, Annelle is discovering a new adventure of her own at Harmony.

More Than Just a New Home

Annelle enjoyed living with her daughter for the first few months in Indianapolis, however she desired a place of her own where she could make new friends. A senior living community was the perfect choice to give her both things. After exploring multiple communities, Annelle and her daughter knew they had found her new home when they walked into Harmony at Avon. The warm environment, engaging community, and beautiful apartments made the decision easy.

Annelle quickly built a strong circle of friends who made her feel at home. “I love that everyone looks out for each other. There is a real sense of community at Harmony,” she shared.

She appreciates that at Harmony, she can choose to participate in as many or as few activities as she likes. The amount of time she spends relaxing in her apartment, socializing with friends, and trying new things is completely up to her.

Thoughtfully Designed Apartments

Annelle selected a one-bedroom apartment in Independent Living, which is the perfect size for her needs. Her favorite space in her apartment is the balcony with beautiful views. “I can hardly wait to use my new patio furniture!” she said enthusiastically.

Annelle also loves the full kitchen and washer and dryer in her apartment, which she noted were not common in other communities she visited.

A Team That Feels Like Family

One of the highlights of living at Harmony at Avon is the dedicated team. Annelle appreciates Aeshia, who works hard to ensure everything runs smoothly, and Paul, the concierge. “Paul is wonderful. He is always willing to help,” she said.

When you find a new home that makes you happy, you naturally want to share it with family and friends. Harmony has made such a positive impact on Annelle that she is excited to refer others to the community.
