Harmony Senior Services was founded on the belief that people deserve higher-quality senior living options. As a family-owned and operated organization that operates independent living, assisted living and personal care, and memory care communities, Harmony provides each resident, family member, and associate with the same care, compassion, and respect they would extend to their own family.

Harmony operates senior living communities across 12 states, including Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Independent Living: Older adults who are active and independent but want a maintenance-free lifestyle, social opportunities, and the convenience of amenities and services without the responsibilities of homeownership.

Assisted Living / Personal Care: Older adults who could benefit from additional daily support with tasks such as medication management, bathing, dressing, or mobility, while still maintaining as much independence as possible in a supportive environment.

Memory Care: Individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia who need specialized care, a secure environment, and structured support from a team trained in memory care.

Yes, Harmony communities often offer multiple care levels in one location, allowing couples to stay together while receiving different levels of support if needed.

Independent living: Maintenance-free lifestyle with meals, activities, and social opportunities.

Assisted living: Includes additional help with daily tasks like medication reminders, mobility assistance, and personal care.

Memory care is designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and provides a secure environment with specialized programs and trained caregivers.

Harmony communities are designed with safety and peace of mind in mind. Our assisted living and memory care communities feature emergency call systems in apartments, 24/7 team member availability, and routine safety checks.

Additional features include well-lit common areas, handrails, accessible layouts, and secure environments for memory care neighborhoods. These measures help ensure residents feel safe while maintaining their independence.

Monthly fees typically include housing, meals, maintenance, activities, and basic services, with additional costs depending on care needs.

Senior living is typically paid for through private funds such as savings, retirement income, pensions, or proceeds from the sale of a home. Some individuals and families also use long-term care insurance, veterans benefits, life insurance conversions, or short-term bridge loans. Many families use a combination of these resources to pay for senior living.

Care services* often include:

  • Housekeeping and maintenance

  • Assistance with daily living activities
